For example narrow alleyways suggests the labyrinth of narrow dark streets in Vienna (The Third Man, Bridges also indicate danger as one could be thrown of a bridge into the river, also there is no escape once you are on a bridge. Thus you achieve a sense of entrapment (The Dartford Tunnel ) in Essex Boys.
